Amanda Zavitz
Amanda grew up in Belmont Ontario. She is a Professor of Sociology and Women’s Studies. She is also the chair of the Gender Equality Coalition of Ontario. Amanda is a feminist and social activist. She was called to social justice and advocacy work as a result of growing up in poverty and surrounded by addiction. She began her own healing journey in her late thirties. The more time she spent connected to her sacred soul, the more she longed to stay connected. She began hosting silent retreats in 2018 to help others journey to their own heart space. In addition to hosting the silent retreats, Amanda was called to attend other modalities of healing including Celtic shamanic journeying, coursework around soul connection, ceremonial healing sessions, and sound healing sessions. Most recently, Amanda has become a certified Reiki practitioner.
Amanda’s spiritual work connects to her work as a feminist. Divine feminism is about equality for all humanity, and Amanda believes that inner soul work radiates by way of increasing vibrational frequency and impacting the world to become a better place possible for all.

Rebecca Gilchrist
Rebecca was born and raised in London Ontario. She comes from a family of nurses and has always felt called to the healing arts. In 2002, Rebecca began her career as a Registered Massage Therapist. In 2007, she persued an education in Osteopathy, and in 2011 she began her own practice as an Osteopathic Manual Therapist. Rebecca was drawn to osteopathy because it is a modality of treating the body includes all parts… body, mind, and spirit.
Her history of osteopathic training in combination with her desire to heal herself, led her to discover more about the mind and spirit connection, and alternative forms of healing. Rebecca was led to a sacred plant medicine ceremony with a beautiful Shaman and discovered the deep healing that occurs in these sacred healing traditions. After attending a few ceremonies, she felt the call to learn these sacred traditions so that others could experience the depth of healing that is possible in ceremony.
In 2020, Rebecca began training with her own Shaman to learn the healing traditions of the Shapibo tribe of Peru.
She looks forward to guiding you through a beautiful ceremony.
